as a matter of fact, you may not be given admission if you fail to re-upload your WAEC, NECO, NABTEB and SSCE result in the jamb portal whether you are coming through Direct Entry or using awaiting result for your application.
1. visit JAMB website
Click here to visit the JAMB website, before you enter the website you must have a good internet connection and a browser installed on your laptop device or android phone.
most people with a different browser, but the number one browser that is mostly used is google chrome because it has some good features.
2. Log into JAMB portal.
you will need your jamb profile email and password for you to be able to log into the portal, make sure you don’t make mistakes because the portal will not accept it.
in a situation where you forget your jamb registration password, you can also click on password reset where jamb will send a link to your email address for you to reset your jamb password.
when resetting your jamb password make sure you use what you can remember easily and don’t disclose it to anybody.
3. click on Admission status
while you are still on the jamb dashboard, locate the admission status below at the right side of the page and click on it.
4. click on the ACCESS MY CAPS button.
after clicking on the access my central admission processing system (CAPS) button you will see different options on the left side of the page.
on my profile page, you will find your name, JAMB registration number e.g 21596592CF, Gender, Date of birth, State of origin, and your UTME score.
On my o’ level portal is where you will confirm if the WAEC, NECO, NABTEB and SSCE result is uploaded or not. the result is a subject combination of nine subjects in total.
The admission profile consists of the institution of your choice, course of study, UTME subject combination, and admission status, if you have been given admission you can accept or reject it.
Market place Consideration:
The institutions you choose as your first choice are considering you for admission, click on accept/reject button, to either accept or reject the offer
NOTE, be informed that accepting the admission offer does not mean you have been given the admission, it simply implies that you have accepted.
Only when acceptance of payment is made to the institution is when you are accepted fully as their student.
Program / Course Transfer Consideration:
Your First Choice of Institution wants to transfer you from your program/course of preference to another program/course.
However, you are required to either accept/reject the admission consideration.
If you accept, your first choice of the institution will be able to admit you to the new program, but If you reject it, you will remain in your preferred Course / Program. The program/course transfer will not be affected.
