ASU Online Military Student Support, At Arizona State University we support our military students and are grateful for all they do for our country. With over 250 online programs, we make it easy to study a subject matter you are passionate about. We offer a variety of undergraduate and graduate degrees in areas ranging from biological sciences and software engineering to criminology and liberal studies. – It was a no-brainer to start at ASU while on active duty. I only took one class at a time initially. I did eventually take two classes at a time while on active duty.

However, it was always easy to pick what I needed. It was easy to apply. Going back to school isn’t always easy, especially if you’re on active duty But we promise you are not alone. We want you to succeed and are here to help you balance your military obligations with your schoolwork.

Our courses can be completed anytime from anywhere, providing the flexibility needed to further your education. So being an active duty marine already having a bachelor’s degree, and just jumping straight into a master’s degree. I felt scared all over again because, of course, I wanted to make my family proud being nervous, I didn’t want to fail them.

At ASU Online, you are supported from the moment you inquire about a program, to graduation and beyond. Every student is assigned a success coach, who provides support and guidance throughout your educational journey. We’re also here to walk you through the financial aspect of school and discuss the different types of GI Bill chapters, military Tuition Assistance programs, and scholarships offered.

You’ll receive support from the Pat Tillman Veterans Center, and have access to ASU+, which houses a suite of premier services, including time management coaching, counseling, student wellness services, and technical support. If you’re struggling with the idea of going back to school, whether you’re active duty or a veteran, or a spouse, and you’re just thinking I’ve got so many things going on right now, I don’t think I can add classes to that.

I am here to tell you that you can. You have these benefits available to you and you should absolutely be using them. Earning your degree online doesn’t mean giving up on the traditional on-campus experience. Become a member of one of our student-led clubs and join our Facebook group, where you can ask general questions, learn ASU fun facts, and meet other Sun Devils.

One thing that’s been great about ASU is that I’ve had the opportunity to participate in a lot of things that I wanted from the on-campus experience, but that I never got to have because I was active duty, and then I was a spouse, and, you know, we’re moving around and I don’t get to go on campus.

And I thought I would miss out on a lot of things like club involvement, and sororities, and whatnot. But I have found such a phenomenal group of individuals within the online community that has formed all of these different clubs. ASU has provided me with opportunities that I’m not sure I would have found elsewhere.

They provide you with all of these different resources so that no matter what walk of life you’re in, there’s something there for you. Our online courses are taught by the same world-class faculty as our on-campus courses, using the same curriculum. With a hands-on focus, our programs provide you with the knowledge and skill set needed to reach your goals.

And now that I have graduated, I feel so excited, so happy, so glad that I took this opportunity to one, make myself more knowledgeable on something that I feel really passionate about, making my family proud, and also using the resources that the Marine Corps provided me. And I’m so internally grateful for all of those things, and I’m so glad that I decided to take this journey with ASU Online.
